Masutani May is a Singapore-born glass artist currently based in Toyama, Japan.
Her practice often leans toward sculptural works that explore impermanence, presence, and the quiet relationship between object and space.

This series marks a more functional extension of her ongoing conceptual explorations. Working with glass as a way of holding light, air, and atmosphere, May approaches everyday objects as vessels for the unseen - where use and contemplation coexist. The pieces invite slower, more attentive moments, drawing attention to subtle shifts in reflection, weight, and space.
