Ken Lu | Colorful Dots Goblet
Ken Lu is a Singaporean ceramic artist whose quiet dedication to clay has taken him across continents. He studied at the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute (BFA, 2015) and later earned his MFA in Ceramics from West Virginia University in 2018. From 2018 to 2023, he led the Pottery Workshop Education Center in Jingdezhen, mentoring young makers while deepening his own practice.
Ken is also a skilled kiln builder, with a deep understanding of kiln construction and repair. At his studio, Homily Studios in Jingdezhen, he built his own wood kiln and continues to fire regularly with his students and mentees. His works have been shown in China, the US, and Singapore - each piece shaped by years of study, and a quiet respect for material and process.
